Previously, Mr. Hatami held various top positions in- and outside the Iranian banking industry, including Chairman and Managing Director of Bank Tejarat, Board Member of the Bank of Industries and Mines, Vice President of Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines, General Manager for crude oil exports at National Iranian Oil Company and Vice President of IDRO. Mr. Hatami holds a BA in economics and politics from the University of Lancaster, UK and is Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountancy in England and Wales. The Managing Director of Middle East Strategies, Albrecht Frischenschlager holds an MA in Finance and a Ph.D in Transition Economy. After coming to Iran in 1998, Mr. Frischenschlager has worked as director of Iran’s leading strategy consulting firm, Atieh Bahar Consulting, specializing on Iran’s financial markets. Past professional experience includes expatriate postings in various emerging markets for Swiss investment banking firms and an employment with a commercial bank in Austria.
